This is addressed to friends with conscience, their friends, and all good folks at large. Dear friends, over the last few weeks, I and many friends have been sharing a lot of information about Palestine. It is only because I and many of my friends consider it to be a Human Rights disaster, where a disproportionate imbalance has been created due the apathy or the collusion of some mighty powers. We have a nuclear power Israel with the most sophisticated weaponry of the world that kills with impunity on the pretext of saving its own citizens. Many of my friends forget that the situation in Palestine is due to continuous inhumane occupation of a land and subjugation of people. Any resistance or efforts of liberation is termed as terrorism, and children, women, patients, handicapped, are killed as targets that some insensitive people call collateral damage. Over the years all the liberation activists of Palestine have been maligned as people of the Left and secular and discredited. The current activists unfortunately come from the Islamic extremists that the West created and nurtured many a times with active Israeli cooperation. And now the selected few in the world malign them also, as is the practice of exploiters. The ultimate victims of this insanity are the innocent people of Palestine. They have resisted and keep resisting. No power in the world can annihilate over a million people. Nazis did under Holocaust and we have always sympathized with the Jewish people on that. The Jewish people understand the suffering that a Holocaust can cause, and I expect that most of them are against a similar fate imposed upon others, and also hate the apartheid state that Israeli government under Zionist influence and under the blackmail of religiously orthodox Jews perpetuates. I am on record in actively opposing Islamic terrorism, the likes of Ikhwan and Jamaat e Islami and Hamas. And now I take the barbs of being pro Hamas when I stand with Palestinians against the Zionsit mindset. I have no problems since people like Faiz and Edward Said have guided me to endure it. I have recently shared some scholarly material on Zionism and its excesses, many of us have been oblivious to that. We have to understand that it is not a Islam v/s Judaism issue, nor it is a Muslim-Jew conflict. It is a problem of Zionism gone bad that has led to a perpetual apartheid like subjugation of rights of a people. I have decided that political expediency and political correctness has to be set aside, a spade has to be called a spade, and all of us should stand with Palestine with one voice, and that is to call for the end of Occupation. That is the fundamental solution. I beg your forgiveness for overwhelming you. Thanks.
