This is aimed at the kids who have thrown together a half baked attempt at covering this song. Band Aid 30. Its a bit sensitive because its a charity song and all but I still think the likes of Ora, Smith, Faith, 1D, Goulding and Murs need to take some responsibility here. Did they watch the original? Did they read the right lyrics? Have they even heard the song? It seems theyve made it up as they went along. Chris Martin, Elbow, you must remember it the first time round - Didnt you think to point out it was all going pear shaped? Sheeran, Bastille, you fellas are excused because everything else you have done makes up for it. Where was Sir Bob, Paul McCartney, George Micheal, Bowie, Collins, Sting, Weller, Rossi and Parfitt, Le-Bon, Hadley and the Kemps? And how could this single be reborn without Bananarama? Changing Bonos lyric... Well tonight thank god its them instead of you. Travesty. Needless to say I wont purchase the new single regardless of the negative effect this will have on the charity and if it comes onto my radio or tv I shall be turning it over in an instant.
