The writer of this piece has a skewed eye-glass which shows him every achievements of Ethiopia in a negative way. * ".....Civil war ravaged the country and famine killed nearly a half million people in the early 1980s...." Yes this is a fact but what the hell does this have to do with our football achievement? * "Sports still played a part in the country, notably the magnificent runners hardened by poverty and high altitude." How can poverty harden a person? Just perplexed. * "Ethiopia is the only team that coach Sewnet Bishaw, a schoolteacher, has managed." No comment here.
