This is an archived page for the successful campaign to transfer the Biological Recording programme formerly run at the University of Birmingham. In 2012 the programme was taken over by Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU). We were exceptionally lucky to transfer all of our staff and courses. Forming links within the Conservation department has been especially useful. Since then we have gone from strength to strength, recruiting successfully for the MSc and Ucert as well as our day courses. The website for Biological Recording at MMU is: sste.mmu.ac.uk/recording/ We now have a new FB page which gives news on the MSc in Biological Recording and the University Certificate in Biological Recording and Species Identification. Next years day courses are also available ranging from: Conifer ID, Mosses and Liverworts, Tackling Plant ID, Grasses in Spring, Umbellifers, Docks and Knotweeds, Asteraceae, and Lamiaceae & Scrophulariaceae FB page here https://facebook/pages/MMU-Biological-Recording/1493552714217023?fref=ts Please visit the FB page and like us to be keep up to date of our courses and news about the staff and students.
