This is an emotional time of year for animal rescuers as many older dogs are turned into shelters. Those adorable Christmas pups are no longer adorable. Many family pets become homeless - leaving animal lovers across the country feeling heartbroken and defeated! Rescue groups do their best to rescue as many as possible, knowing they cant save them all and seeing the faces of the ones slated to die is very overwhelming! I would like to send out prayers and strength to all of you! This is not an easy feat and you are all needed to make a difference for these poor souls! YOU are all they have and their only chance at life. To everyone else - you all have the power to make a difference in this world! Spay, neuter....adopt dont shop... Educate thy neighbor...network homeless animals...support rescue groups near and far...visit a shelter....donate.. .become a foster...the list is endless and so are the needs! This New Year elect to make a difference! Xo
