This is an interesting scenario, because it defies leftist views regarding hunting and species conservation. People hunt for a few reasons, including leisure and money. Some may make hunting their lively hood if it is profitable enough. But what happens when a particular species, which is popular to hunters, begins to do out? Exactly what is told of in this article: the hunters will go about conserving the species by keeping breeding populations alive, so that there will always be enough of the species to profit from, or enjoy the hunting of. This particular article speaks of the hunting of feral pigs, which damage the native ecosystem, and which are legal to hunt. What if more native species were legal to hunt and breed, without the drawbacks of government regulation? And not just here, but around the world? Would these hunters not do with those native species as they would do with these feral species? In an anarcho-capitalist or libertarian society, this is essentially the basic scenario regarding the subject of hunting and conservation of species. - Alex.
