This is an old story and probably everyone has heard it, but it is still my favorite fairytale: Once upon a time, a princess was enjoying a walk in the castles garden. When she neared the small pond in the garden she heard a small voice calling to her from the waters edge. The princess went to investigate and found a frog waiting for her. Oh! said the frog, Princess! Please help me! I was once a prince until an evil witch cast a spell on me and changed me into a frog. The princess gazed at the frog with mild curiosity and asked how she might be of help with this situation when she had no knowledge of sorcery and curses? Kiss me! said the frog, And that will break the curse! And when I become a prince again we shall marry and you shall have my children and raise them while I rule your kingdom for you. And we shall live happily ever after! Not saying a word, the princess put the frog in her pocket and left the garden. Later that evening, when she sat down to eat her dinner, the princess reflected upon the frogs words. Hed rule the kingdom and I would get pregnant and raise his children? I dont think so! She said, after lifting up a frogs leg marinated in white wine and gently sauteed in butter in garlic to inspect it. And with that she took a bite and enjoyed her meal very much. And she lived happily ever after.
