Ontario Jacksons 22 led South St Paul over Mounds Park Academy who received 11 from Brendan Connolly John Sobaski had 19 in Prior Lake opening win versus Henry Sibley 68-66 Javon Daniels had 24 despite the loss for Sibley Mitchell Weege 24 & Clay Elrod 21 led Elk River to a 85-77 win over Coon Rapids. Chris Buckley netted 19 points for the Cardinals Michael Doperalski scored 20 points, leading Big Lake over Zimmerman 81-55 Kristian Bright and Tyler Theisen with 16 apiece for Thunder Centennial put 3 guys in double figures led by Clayton Byrds 14 and defeated Blaine 67-59 who received 13 from Ben Scherer Wheeler Baker had 21 in Osseo 81-37 opening last night vs Anoka Torry Ledin had 14 in the loss Murray Co Centrals Grant Everson had 17 pts & 9 steals MCC beat Fulda 59-45 Raiders Josh Ramerth totaled 10 points and 10 rebounds Michael Slaba 26 Kristian Lepke 18 &12, & Josh Gallegos 20 led Canby to impressive 88-59 win over Wabasso. Neil Eichten had 25 for Rabbits Ade Lamu 25 & Aage Rovney 20 led St Croix Lutheran to a 71-64 victory over Cannon Falls despite a stellar 38 pts from Brock Peterson Ted Clement led Cherry with 14 points while Lucas Clement added 12 in a tight 66-65 win over Mt Iron Buhl. MIB was led by Jaylon Holmes 19 Cole Kruger led Hayfield charge with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 8 steals & 4 assists in 68-28 win over Lake City Zack Melbostad 16 Joe Sandvik & Payton McQuinn 14 each led LaCrescent to a 65-45 win over Triton Justin Ward had 21 points and Donnie Lind 18 as Mabel-Canton beat Schaeffer Academy 71-59. DR was led by Ben Ebys 18 Bigfork nipped Eveleth-Gilbert 65-64 Brady Thomas had 23 for the winners while Austin Hujanen had 21 in the loss Matt Miller recorded a double-double with 16 &12 rebounds to lead Annandale over Maye rLutheran 59-55 Chase Knickerbocker added 19 points St. John’s Prep’s Grant Franke 18 points & added 10 rebounds to help lead squad over Rush City 60-58 Mitch Weidner hit 6 3-point shots and scored a game-high 25 points for Paynesville as they defeated Minnewaska 66-47 David Kinzler had 22 points, Taylor Larson 21, Brody Larson 19 and Colton Minnick 10 to pace ACGC over KMS 91-31 Jordan Thompson and Troy Diggins netted 17 points each and Montevideo drained 8 three-pointers as the Thunder Hawks toppled MACCRAY 58-43 Legacy Christian’s Nate Bertsch and Luke Johnson each scored 33 in the 98-80 win over Lakeview Christian who also had a 33 point scorer in Bjorn Broman. Darnell Goggleye hit four 3-pointers en route to a team-high 21 points as North Woods spoiled the Chisholm home opener. Aaron Musberger had 27 for Bluestreaks. Senior forward Nick Shanks started the season in style, pouring in 42 points in Plainview-Elgin-Millville’s 90-76 win over St. Charles.
