This is an update on my brother David Sprunger. We thought he had - TopicsExpress

This is an update on my brother David Sprunger. We thought he had been doing well after his radiation and chemo treatment ended in mid December. Sunday night the pressure and vomiting began again; they admitted him to the hospital Monday evening, and did an MRI yesterday. Although the radiation had knocked down the tumor in the area it had been, the MRI showed that the tumor had branched out into a new region of his brain and was growing very aggressively. David and Jenni have decided not to pursue any further treatment. The surgeon and doctors do not offer much hope for a longer life for my brother. We visited him last evening; he was very peaceful, happy, euphoric even, pleading with all of his visitors to step up our efforts to witness for Jesus, sharing with people the real deal that life is so short, eternity is coming, and that we need to use our words to bring people to the Lord. When the surgeon had come into the room to deliver the results, Jenni said that David told him, I know the news is bad, its okay, Im okay. We spent a very special time singing hymns together. He couldnt sing the right words, but knew every note and accompanied us with beautiful harmony. We know that God can still heal David, and we continue to pray for that! Please continue to pray for David and Jenni and their children, Zachary, Jordan (and Kelly), Amy (and Ben) and Nathan during this very difficult time. Thank you for prayers for our family.
