This is another lesson not learned from history as far back as the first world war. Have we not learned that the lessons of WW2, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Libya and what the dictators Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and others were capable of? How many wars, revolutions and acts of religious barbarism have been happening in the last few years, and still they go on unabated with no real solution in sight? Western nations again are railing at the atrocities of Syria and also Egypt, what the hell difference do these nations think they will make when we look back over the last decade and do they think that other conflicts will not spring up elsewhere? We all know the latter is certain given the depths to which humanity has sunk, and to expect religion to help is the greatest illusion there has ever been.
