This is bugging me: This is the standard answer that Keurig Green Mountain ( Green Mountain Coffee) is giving people when they try and question about their joining the suit against Vermont concerning the GMO labeling law: .. despite what some have said or implied, Green Mountain Coffee is not directly funding or involved in this lawsuit. Like many organizations, we are working to understand the complexities associated with the role of GMOs in our global food systems, including for instance, emerging challenges related to labeling, which is at the heart of this situation in Vermont currently. We are committed to producing and selling products that are safe for consumers to consume. We also have a deep appreciation for the care and concerns consumers have about the products they consume and their desire to have information about the sourcing and production of these products. My answer is, Got GMOs? I wanna know! LABEL THEM! Vermont Coffee Company for me...... And as someone else said, if you cant be honest about it, take the Green Mountain out of your name.
