This is difficult to write, but here it goes. For years I watched my mother endure the horrible abuse from my stepfather as well as enduring his wrath on my siblings and myself. We werent protected. No one stood up for us. It was a secret that ALL the police knew in my town. They would let him stay and make us leave in the middle of the night in our pajamas with a set of clothes. It wasnt a pretty sight. They didnt stand up. So that being said, I cant help but feel compelled to rant a little. Therefore, if the NFL doesnt take a strong stand for Domestic Violence, it is a punch in the face to not only my daughter/our families, but all that support their organization. I am tired of everyone burying their heads in the sand. 2 games?..might as well say its ok..Feeling sad. Who better than the NFL to say, Not in our family, not in our home, NO MORE TOLERANCE. What if it was your mother, sister, aunt or a loved one in that video? Would 2 days be sufficient punishment? Just think about it. ❤
