This is encouraging news re a coffee stop making room for cyclists in Havelock North, BUT a call for banning cyclists on Puketiritiri Road (Poraiti Hill) due to of an increased likelihood of an accident because of increasing numbers of cars/logging trucks and the bad driver/cyclist behaviour?...What about speed bumps, a 60kmh speed zone, better signage, a solar powered cycle warning light, or a more expensive upgrade like Puketapu Road??...a good opportunity to learn how better to Share this stretch of Road...
