This is fantastic. Because of most of the bashing Ive received for not having a faith, I too have backed off the subject since its so sensitive. Ever since that day that the Marshall preacher approached me my first day of college and told me my existence is a mistake (I shouldnt be alive) that I will not force myself to partake in such a malicious faith to intentional harm my mental-being. However, when seeing examples like this, my faith in HUMANITY is restored just a splint. That, for once, someone with a power withheld in a community stands up for that very same community to tell a Christian extremist that they ARE wrong to put people down and that their responsibility is to attune with others to follow the ways of God which is paved with common sense and sin (which is a normal thing, people!) It doesnt change the fact that I am 100% Agnostic (non-affiliated) but as a child I went to Awanas and even some church events - I read the Bible front to back - and I still decide by myself that I dont need faith in my life to get by. Dont take it in a negative way - it just means I rely more upon myself to make good decisions in life and I can do so, just as I have for all of these years.
