This is for fellow marketers who may be new or just not up to speed on certain things you just dont do as a business person here on facebook. Ive never been one to beat around the bush and believe in keeping things real and honest. I dont always believe in telling people what they want to here, but what they need to here. That being said.................. Your timeline and your profile pic are very important. Always remember, people dont join a business, people join people. When you make contact with a prospect, the first thing the majority of them will do as I do, they check out your facebook page. Now for me, if I go to someones page, and they dont have a profile pic with a smile, I wont stay. If theyre wearing sunglasses, I wont stay. If theyre standing there with their arms crossed trying to look like a bad *ss, I wont stay. If theyre wearing a basball cap sideways, I wont stay. Call me old fashion but if were doing business online, shouldnt we try to look and act as professional business people. I dont know about anyone else but I take my business very seriously so Im continually learning how to be a successful business man.
