This is for me just as much as for you. Have you ever felt like darkness was surrounding you, or depression lingering over you, or you just cant seem to shake feelings that contradict your faith, or you are going thru things and you just dont understand why, and you want it to end, you are parched, spent, tired, needing to get out of the valley you seem to be stuck in? We are not alone in these times. Peter said not to be surprised at our trials, that we all undergo them, (1st Peter 5:9), its common to everybody. Either you are in it right now, or you just came through it, or you are getting ready to go through it. My thoughts are not for reasoning it, or giving explanations for it. This is simply what I believe will bring us through. Even the great Apostle Paul with his thorn in his flesh pleaded with God to take it away, and God did not take it away, but He said My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9) Heres what I know and believe is the greatest thing available to us to aid us in our trials, but most these days do not make the time for it, nor recognize its power. The Word of God For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it PENETRATES even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart - Hebrews 4:12 Your Word is a light to my feet and a lamp to my path- Psalm 119:105 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish.....so is My Word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.- Isaiah 55:10,11 Jesus said The Words I have spoken to you are Spirit and they are Life- John 6:63 Man does not LIVE on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds from the mouth of God- Deuteronomy 8:3 My point is GET IN THE WORD, STAY IN THE WORD, LIVE IN THE WORD. Even when you dont see a change, it is accomplishing something on the inside of you that will eventually manifest in your life. Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the Everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH......So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand........The poor and the needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the Lord will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys, I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs. - Isaiah 40:28-31, Isaiah 41:10,17-18 If you are tired, weak, weary, lost, feel isolated, feel powerless, feel abandoned, depressed, lacking hope, lacking strength, lacking faith, and having trouble seeing the good, speaking and walking by faith.......I urge you.....let your eyes fall upon the words from Your Father in Heaven.....He has all the answers....His Words live....they are alive....and can bury themselves down in your soul, and go to work, and turn your whole outlook, and perspective, and sight around, and birth something new in your life.
