This is for my good friend John Couzins. John is not on FB so he may or may not see this, but John is Racing in Kona, Hawaii in the Ironman World Championship on Saturday. This is the race you see highlighted on NBC every year, it is the Super Bowl/World Series of Triathlon and it is very tough to qualify for this race. John has completed (I think) 15 Iron distance races, and countless other triathlons, marathons, 1/2 marathons etc and he has spent many hours out on the road and in the water over the years to reach this goal. He is a great friend and mentor to me and an amazingly talented athlete. I wish I could be there to support him, but I will be watching on the computer. John, Im thinking about ya, I know you are prepared and I know you are tougher than nails! You are gonna kill it on Saturday and I cant wait to hear all about it. YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!
