This is for my son and my daughter both. My son because hes the original Leo and my LBG because shes going to be one hell of an attorney! I worked as the Information Security Officer at PACER. They are ripping us all off not just because they charge for the cases that weve already paid for with our tax dollars (over 125 million a year) but because they have no accountability on the revenues they bring in. I walked out of PACER because I had enough of the concealed way they did business. How many auditors were fired because the didnt provide the right recommendations? How many brain dead PCI/DSS auditors who checked boxes because the only technical ability they had was to turn on a computer. Never once questioning the fact that the system admin had full access to the controls and the CIO made sure that all traces were deleted. That they bash root at every turn with the accountability of an ant bed. The scripts run against the systems accounts receivables. How much did PACER really make and who else was taking this money that no one accounted for? But heres the real scare,they have no IG and the people who are supposed to be their IG are about as brain dead as the PCI/DSS auditors. No one could get in. I helped to make sure of that. Aaron Swartz didnt break into PACER, he just utilized a free spot and pulled down all the documents he could. No hack there. The threat of PACER isnt from the outside.
