This is for students in Hedge End who normally catch the A from Oaklands Estate to Eastleigh - the one thats supposed to leave there just after 0730. Until the Colden Common roadworks finish we anticipate that the A will continue to be late, so from tomorrow were going to send the C round the estate at the times the A is SUPPOSED to be there (ie 0732 at Heath House Lane, 0735 at Sovereign Drive). The C will then pick up its normal route and timetable from the Barleycorn onwards. Hopefully this will give you a better chance of getting to college or work in time. The gawjus Ciaran, our very own Mr Eurovision, will be at the wheel of the C tomorrow morning to welcome you aboard - and if the traffic through Mansbridge is bad, he promises to serenade you with a few Swedish classics to while away the time! Looking ahead we have applied for permission from the authorities to make a short notice timetable change from the following Monday 27th January, to allow the A to leave town at 0700 to give it a better chance of getting to Hedge End closer to schedule.
