This is for those of you who just cant fall asleep ;) Did you all know that taking popular flu medication like Clarinase, Zyrtec D, telfast D etc can very well be the reason youre still up reading this post? The culprit is the decongestant inside the above medicines, namely PSEUDOEPHIDRINE. It helps clears your nose block, but it also keeps you awake. Older medication like actifed contains this ingredient too, but when coupled with a drowsy antihistamine, they sort of neutralizes each other.
