This is from yesterday...I went to sleep last night and awoke this morning with the images of unspeakable brutality still seared into my mind. I think it will be a good long time before they fade. One thing I know...I can never forget what my eyes have seen. My heart and soul cannot retreat back to that place of innocence...and ignorance about the atrocities being carried out in our world today. I pray that my heart will always be broken with the things that break Gods heart and that callousness will never take the place of deep compassion within me. I pray it is so for you as well. Praying that those who have known the comfort of God will in turn be His hands of mercy, compassion and grace to others.
