This is going to be a hard message to write and an even harder thing to actually do. The time has come for me to deactivate my account. I am not sure at the moment exactly how long of a period, maybe just a few days, maybe longer I just dont know. I will try and explain why. Facebook for me has become an addiction and in many ways a way of life, I do greatly enjoy the time I spend on here, the friendships and love I have received just being here is immeasurable. The fact that so many people on a daily basis respond to things I say and share, the journey my life has taken in just the course of a few short years warms my very heart and soul. My journey is taking a new course and a new direction, one of enlightenment and wanting to reconnect with people on a much different level, one of reality and one that I can actually touch. I have gained so much from this outlet but I have recently discovered within myself how much I have lost, my time on here has caused problems in my personal life, professional life and my relationships. As I posted earlier this week Facebook is much like virtual texting so much is lost, the context of the posts, the drama and misunderstandings have started to greatly effect things in my life I greatly care about and want back, A simple posted song lyric can lead to many missed feelings and misinterpretations Is he happy ? Sad Depressed, etc I am striving to break free of that and get my life on the track it is meant to follow. Somewhere along the line that was lost plain and simple. Its time to take control again and set sail towards a touch more freedom and peace.
