This is going to be a little self-promotey, and I apologize for - TopicsExpress

This is going to be a little self-promotey, and I apologize for that, but I think the question applies to everyone. An animated short film I scored, is getting quite a bit of exposure. It received 200K+ views online, and its showing at dozens of festivals, all over the world. At this point, the director is not even having to submit to festivals. They are seeking her out. My question is, how can I maximize the benefit to me from this exposure? My ideas, so far, are to write a few blog posts about my creative process on the film (there are a few unique things I did, that directors and composers might find interesting). Ive also used clips from this film, while participating on a film music panel discussion. I also thought of getting the director to submit to festivals have have awards for music. Any other ideas? Its just a short film, but I feel like its pretty unique and compelling.
