This is going to be a really long post, so please bear with me Ladies and Gentlemen. I know I am going to forget to thank a lot of people who deserve to be shown gratitude. So what I am doing right here, is thanking you first thing. Thank you to everyone who Im about to forget to thank. Many people have shown gratitude to me for organizing this past Sundays benefit for my brother Derek. I thank you for the kind sentiment, but I have deflected and will continue to deflect credit for this day. I simply turned the key and fired up the bandwagon and everyone hopped on and took over. It was amazing. Ive never been so humbled in my entire life. My faith in humanity has been fully restored. Derek Schroeder - Your enduring spirit and perseverance is the engine that drove this from start to finish. Whenever people mentioned this event was for you, nothing further needed to be said in order to get their full support. It is a testament to you and your family, and how much people respect and love you. David Schroeder, Courtney Havel , Kelsey Schroeder , and Dereks Grandma Lauritzen - it meant a great deal seeing you all there. It was very special having you be a part of Dereks day. Jan Pomije at Lexus. All I can really say is wow. As we worked to fill up our golf carts with golfers, there were roughly 1 billion other tasks that needed to be accomplished for this event to be a success. Jan at Lexus accomplished ALL of them. Every task was completed and done very very well. Whitney Wilson - Wow you really went all out and brought so much together for the event on such short notice. You, Hayley Wilson, family, and friends did so much and gave so much; it truly was incredible to witness. Thank you for everything you did in that final week. (And continue to do!) Todd Hopkins - The highlight of the day for everyone was getting to have a video conference with Derek. Thank you for making that happen. Thank you also for organizing the online fundraiser for Derek. Brett Cunningham - I had never organized a golf outing before. I had only played in them. Thanks for making it easy. And thanks for the free lesson out there on Sunday. My mom Carolynn Hoschek, My sisters Jessica Hoschek Egly and Andrea Ewers and my Aunt Lola Kruse - I cant thank you enough. You worked really hard leading up to the event getting hole sponsors, auction items, raffle prizes, etc. You created a bake sale in a couple days time. To me that is impressive. You took all the pictures at the event and that will be how this day is remembered. Thank you. The Blanchard Family - You contributed so much to this event on Sunday, and yet you still want to do more. You are a great family. Really great people. People of LuJacks - Thank you!
