This is going to be an intresting topic. Could somebody please tell me what swansea has to offer. Years ago when i was a lad we had decent shops in swansea no empty areas. Major development in areas has been messed around with by swansea city council the company involved in modernising parts of swansea is now going to pull out due to scc being so far up their own backsides and not moving with the times. Do the council realise investment from big companys brings jobs that brings more revenue. The state of swansea is shocking myself everytime i go away i see another shop close and oxford street one of our main streets has empty shops. Im seeing swansea going to the dogs to be truthfully honest. Its scruffy and dirty. Ive been to major citys worldwide and in the uk and seen how things have changed for them then i come home and see how clueless persons on high wages are ruining things. Swansea was a lovely city but things have now changed the football team might be premiership but the citys infastructure is division 2. Good things for swansea are i see Good transport links Gower Joes icecream Swansea market Amazing community spirit Good restaurants Scfc The lagoon project if it goes ahead still Bad things The roads in the city centre High rates for shops Swansea bay still dirty No decent shops Empty shops High st in a mess as thats supposed to be the gateway to the city from the train station. Swansea city council wanting investment but then changing the rules and what shops to put in Please be honest guys and ladies im not complaining just frustrated at the way things are going and have gone.
