This is gonna be one LONG night...we were just called with a possible donor for Damien. 29 year old male-suicide...it is not 100% a go yet and we wont know for sure until early morning. The surgeons need to go in and visually inspect the organs BUT we have agreed to accept the offer if the team feels we can relatively safely proceed. PLEASE keep us in your prayers as the night unfolds and more than that, pray for the family who just lost their beloved son. My heart is in pieces knowing he felt the need to take his own life. I cannot imagine the pain they are feeling right now so again, please lift these people up in prayer. They have chosen to honor their son and bring good out of a horrible tragedy. Truly selfless....
