This is gonna sound like bragging(and it is), but with great humility, humbleness and excitement I would like to thank Mike Burdge and Joe Miranov (Enid High XC and Track Coach) for nominating me for the Oklahoma Track Coaches Association Womens Cross Country Coach of the Year. Not only was I nominated, but I actually received the most votes by my peers to win the award. Thank you to my wonderful wife, Starr Corbin, for taking care of the family while Im out with the runners throughout the year and for the girls that worked so hard for our program to be where it is this year and for years to come. Part of the reason I received this award was also for starting the elementary team, middle school team and special needs team so thank you so much to the parents and kids that help make our SS XC programs a success.
