This is great news.. Hopefully this lady that was discriminated against as a child in Jamaica will use that experience to positively assist in Promoting and advocating for disabled in Jamaica. There is a big nee din that area and with help from her and the Obama administration we could definitely help eliminate the discrimination against the disabled that still exists in this world today.. "Jamaican born Claudia Gordon has been appointed as associate director in the White House Office of Public Engagement in the Obama administration. The Deaf News Today reports that Gordon moves from the Department of Labour where she dealt with potential discrimination by federal contractors to now become the White House’s disability liaison. Gordon who experienced discrimination as a child while growing up in Jamaica compelled her to become a lawyer. The Jamaican also moved to the United States as a child."
