This is handy, not so much for the basic point (breaking the standard rules of this kind of article, it requires a ton of backstory to get the point of this writers complaint about being raised by a gay couple).... but I think its handy because it shows the way that the modern left fights political battles. The modern Left - especially when it knows it cant win an argument on the merits - goes straight to character assassination, and will do the best it can to destroy an enemys home life, childrens lives, employment opportunities, personal finances... they want to drive an opponent into such abject poverty that they can never again afford a computer or an internet connection to post a comment. And I really dont think thats how our Founding Fathers meant for the American political system to operate. H/T Steve Miller
