This is happening right in your backyard so please pay very close attention to this video. Last week while I was at Our Small Community of Family one of my God-daughters who left us to be on her own, told me that she and her sister found this guy who said he could get them away from Haiti to Ecuador. She and her sister were among 7 youths to go. When they all arrive in Ecuador they gave the information on the hotel that was supposed to have been arranged for them to stay in. By the grace of God when the immigration officer called the hotel, they could not verify my God-daughter and her sister as guests so they were returned to Haiti. The other 5 young people got to stay in Ecuador because their information was verified. I thank God for His mercy of my God-daughters life and pray for the other 5 that did not come back to Haiti. Human trafficking is happening right at our doorstep. We need to be educated and in turn educate others, especially young people on how to recognize it so we can save a life and put an end to this atrocious crime.
