This is his obituary: “Knock, Knock!” “Who’s there?” “Gorilla!” “Gorilla who?” “Gorilla cheese and please!” Michael (Mike) Scott Lundgren, was a 24 year old filled with pure joy who touched and was loved by everyone who crossed paths with him; he never met a person he didn’t like. He viewed the world in a unique and beautiful way that we could never fully grasp but always admired. He always watched over and cared for his family, even going so far to check on us in our beds to make sure we were okay. He even learned to drive a stick so he could high-jack my uncle’s truck and get my mom a Pepsi when she sprained her ankle. Luckily, he didn’t get very far before one of the many friends and family members watching over him stopped him and helped him get the Pepsi in a safer way. Michael was many things. He was an all-around performer; singer; guitar player, and dancer. He would serenade the entire town while riding down to see the train go by on his tricycle. He was a champion Uno player. He was a preacher; he told everyone who would listen all about how he loved Jesus, and how he lived in Pioche. Jesus was also responsible for lightning and thunder (flashlight and drum set) and during thunder storms you could often hear Michael yelling “dang it, Jesus, stop playing those drums!” He was many things to many people but an acquaintance summed it up very well by saying: “he was the coolest guy on a tricycle I ever met!” Michael was the heart of our family. He’s leaving behind his mom Helen Lundgren, his sister’s: Mary Mallory, Helen, Candy, Alysha Lundgren and Amanda Davis; his brothers, Terry Lundgren, Andrew Davis, Chris Rollins and Jack Mallory; his nieces, Sami Lundgren, Summer and Savannah Davis; His aunts and uncles: Virginia, Peggy, Stan, Bree, Gai, Louise, Barbara, and Dean; his dogs, Chadow and Rio; an entire county who loved him dearly and his loving girlfriend, Carly Shay. However, in leaving us, he is able to join his grandma, Grace, and grandpa, Fergus; his uncles, Richard and Kent; his nephew David and his puppy, Marley. We will miss you more than anything, buddy, but don’t worry, Chadow is keeping an eye on your movies. -Alysha Lundgren
