This is how I pitched The Mansons film project to a potential investor early in 2013. I cant believe the extent to which my optimism for Ghana has been affected in just 16 months. Bad governance really do bite! I seek to use this cinematic masterpiece to tell the many African immigrants in the West that their motherland is now ready to welcome them back where the knowledge and skills that they have acquired on the other continents are greatly needed. Additionally, I want to send a message to the young Africans who are eager to sneak into the next available ship to seek greener pastures overseas that if they try a little harder, if they put the same effort in developing themselves as they do in trying to cross the dangerous Mediterranean waters, if they avail themselves fully to the many possibilities that exist here in Africa, they too can carve a decent and meaningful livelihoods for themselves while helping develop their countries.
