This is how customer service should be. I went to the little town of Madrid,NM for the chili festival made famous in the movie Wild Hogs and decided to eat at the Mineshaft bar and grill. The place is well known locally for its food and it was packed, but we got seated pretty quickly. Our waitress had to be the toughest looking woman I ever saw. She was built like tank, she was wearing a black wife beater and had a solid white spiked flattop. Vicki told me after she left that she was one of the owners and Im thinking then they sure dont need a bouncer. Anyway I got the green chili crab cakes and the red chili stew. The crab cakes were great but the stew tasted like greasy chili powder. So our waitress comes back to pick up our dishes and sees that I didnt eat the stew. She asked if I liked the stew and I said it was OK. She says are you sure and I said well it wasnt that good. She says ok well Im gonna take it off your bill, can I get you something else, cause you didnt eat much. I said you dont really have to do that I ate part of the stew. She s like no its a new dish and I wasnt crazy about how it tasted either. So not only did she drop it from my bill she asked for my input on how to make it better and again offered to get me something to go because I didnt eat enough, now thats how you earn customer loyalty!!!!
