This is how we know we’re living steadily and deeply in him, and he in us: He’s given us life from his life, from his very own Spirit. Also, we’ve seen for ourselves and continue to state openly that the Father sent his Son as Savior of the world. Everyone who confesses that Jesus is God’s Son participates continuously in an intimate relationship with God. We know it so well, we’ve embraced it heart and soul, this love that comes from God. (1 John 4:13-16 MSG) As a follower of Jesus, we have been given this most amazing gift and that is the spirit of God. Its not given to us to make us more superior than others but to help us live in love, which is forever a giving, self-sacrificing life. Lord, today, help us to be filled with Your love and life that we can life a life of love. Only in You do we know what being loved and living love is. Thank You for that love.
