This is how works folks. This is of course just one small example but it is highly visible at the moment so we will use it to exemplify the process. Crony-capitalists (aka most politicians of both parties) are lobbyied (the kind term for bought-and-paid-for) to pilfer tax dollars and debt (future tax dollars with interest) and direct it to those who put them in place. Manchurian candidates abound. Until we revert to constitutional charters in which we limit/restrict government dealings, repeal the income tax, and end the fed, these symptoms of corruption/plunder under a system of Statism will always happen.
