This is in todays Altoona Mirror and will also be in the Johnstown Democrat probably tomorrow. Raymond Wilson May 30, 1950-January 3, 2015 Raymond Wilson, 64, Altoona, died Saturday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Johnstown, son of the late Horace Veeney and Eula Mae Wilson. He married Carol L Gordon on November 28, 2014 in Altoona after being together for 33 years. Surviving are his wife, five children: Raymond Wilson Jr. of Altoona, Nichole Gordon of Altoona, Lisa Andrews and Georgia Brydon both of Johnstown and Danieal Roman of Fort Lauderdale Fla. Raymond is also survived by a brother, Albert Wilson (Debbie), and two sisters, Robin Wilson (Melvin Witherspoon) of Erie, and Darlene Eley (Mike) of Johnstown. Raymond is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step father, Mr. John Caldwell. Raymond was a US Army Veteran. He retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co. as a laborer. He loved fishing and Do It Yourself home projects. Friends will be received from 10 am to Noon, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at The Stevens Mortuary, Inc., 1421 8th Ave., Altoona. A funeral for Raymond will be held at Noon January 6, 2015, at Stevens Memorial Chapel by Pastor Gary Jones. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. stevensfamilyfuneralhomes
