This is irksome and probably wont be my most popular post but whatever.... 60 dogs die in an arson attack by some mindless twat. its horrific, upsetting and Im as angry as the rest of you. So far over £800,000 has been raised in donations to the center.... phenomenonal... except... Last year over 1000 rhinos were singled out and murdered for their horns in south Africa alone... if this keeps up, rhino will be extinct in the wild in less than a decade.... Gone... forever... You might see a news story from time to time or an appeal from charities such as the #WWF or #SavetheRhino but the reaction from the world? Just keep scrolling... People who call themselves animal lovers need to get some perspective. If yall stop buying dogs you have no intention of keeping, then there would be no need for shelters. Donating to dog shelters by the millions just means more dog shelters. Not an end to suffering.
