This is it boys! The day has finally arrived. Its what weve been working hard for all season. Weve earned the right to step out onto the hallowed turf on this final day in September with the chance to take home the ultimate prize. Im not going to lie to you. It will be a hard slog all day. If we want to taste success, every single one of us will have to dig deeper than we ever have before. And then when we think we have no more to give, we need to will ourselves to the next contest. Dig in. Every 1 per center today will be magnified on the big stage. No one can afford to shirk the issue. Because if they do, that one moment may be our undoing. These opportunities come around but once a year. And when we step over that white line today, we are making a commitment. A commitment to each and every team member who will represent us today and to every one that has gone before us that we will leave nothing in the tank. When that final siren sounds at the end of the match, win lose or draw, all I can ask is that everyone can hold their head up high in the knowledge that they gave it their absolute best today! We can ask more than that. There will be no passengers today! If you see one of your teammates down and out, I want you to pick him right back up and together we will fight on until we can hold that premiership cup high! Its up to each and everyone of us to do them proud and never forget our fallen teammates. They may not be physically here with us today, but they will always be with us in spirit. On the flip side the veterans have been replaced with some new blood this year. Making his grand final day debut for our team today is the one and only dash. This guy has worked hard all year and earned his way into this side. Get around him boys, this international mature age rookie is an inspiring story! I know he will do us proud today and put his head over the ball at every occasion when called upon. His pace down the wings will be a lethal weapon for us so if you can get him out in space with the ball, use that option. I know he wont let us down!
