This is just sad. Tom Magliozzi passed away today at 77 after a battle with Alzheimers disease. That name may not ring a bell right away with most people, but if you listen to NPR, you know him. And you definitely know his laugh. Tom and his brother, Ray, were the hosts of Car Talk for 35 years. They called themselves Click and Clack, the Tappet Brothers, and they turned discussions about cars and challenge of repairing them into delightful entertainment. I listened and I could care less about how to fix a Dodge Dart, but I laughed along with the conversation. And I will miss laughing along with those conversations.
