This is kinda depressing. Or just chalk it up to getting old. I grew up in Ross Corners. The first picture is of the back side of the old elementary school. Off to the left is where I learned how to play baseball and kickball and all kinds of other things kids do at their local park growing up. Teen years we would party under the Pavillion cause you could see the cops coming from a mile away and retreat into the woods. Carve your name in the rafters. Swingset wars with my buddies. Real metal slides that burned you ass in the hot summer. And dont forget early Saturday morning arts and crafts with the town summer recreation program. Picture 2 shows the park....well where it used to be anyway. Completely gone! No trace of anything! Talk about youth shattered. Always liked visiting there over the years. Now just memories. Sucks getting old.
