This is kinda fun. This follows the other where they talk about how British people are nuts saying "Maths" where we would say "Math". This is a case where verb/subject agreement says Americans are correct, British are wrong, in speaking the very language they invented. Saying "Maths is fun" is definitely ungrammatical because it implies that the plural statement "Maths" is singular whereas the verb is, implies singular. Either say "Maths are fun" or surrender Brits, and admit "Math is fun" "Maths is incorrect". :) youtube/watch?v=YBbBbY4qvv4
