This is likely one of those questions that is highly subjective however I thought I would toss it out. My son (13) is a big fan, like many baseball chasers, of the movie Field of Dreams. We will be in Chicago for the Cubs (day 8/14) and White Sox (night 8/15). Planned on driving the 1 hour up to Miller park during the day 8/15 for a tour as they are on the road. Question... Is it worth it to scrap the tour and leave at 6am and drive 4 hours west to see The Field of Dreams movie site? Figuring youre only 13 once and probably not going to be any closer than while in Chicago, is it worth it? How is the ride from Chicago on Rt 20? Would need to be back by 7 for White Sox game.
