This is long, but excellent, written by Cathryn Nash: 40,000 Prayer Warriors for Israel. Dear believers and lovers of Israel: The war in Israel has escalated since the brutal murder of the three Jewish teenagers and Israel is at a time of needed manpower. The government has approved for 40,000 reserve troops to be mobilized for a ground operation. As this call has gone out and the 40,000 reserve troops have been called in for a ground operation, I believe that the Lord of Host is calling for a heavenly prayer invasion. The Spirit of the Lord has stirred in my heart to initiate a prayer call for 40,000 intercessors, prayer generals, churches and ministries to stand in the gap together in an air operation for Israel. Surely the church will not stand silent and just watch but realize that our assignment and privilege is to be part of this great victory as we stand in the gap. Esther 4:14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere.. Revelation 8:4,5 And the smoke of the incense arose in the presence of God, with the prayers of the people of God, from the hand of the angel So the angel took the censer and filled it with fire from the altar and cast it upon the earth, Then there followed peals of thunder and loud rumblings and blasts and noises, and flashes of lightning and an earthquake. Let us join together in prayer that 40,000 will arise and partner with the Lords heart for Israel at this key and critical time with prayers and intercession with one heart and one mind to seek God for a much needed heavenly invasion. Let it be as we pray that heavens hosts are released on Israels behalf. 2 Kings 6: 15-17, When the servant of the man of God rose early and went out, behold, an army with horses and chariots was around the city. Elisha’s servant said to him, Alas, my master! What shall we do? Elisha answered, Fear not; for those with us are more than those with them. Then Elisha prayed, Lord, I pray You, open his eyes that he may see. And the Lord opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw, and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Let Israels eyes be open to see that more are for them than against them and let them see a great and glorious supernatural victory brought by the hand of the Lord. We pray their eyes are open to see Jesus Christ, their Messiah. As I write this I am reminded of 2 Chronicles 1. In a dream the Lord asked King Solomon what he would like. Solomons request was profound! He asked for wisdom to be able to rule Gods great people with His heart. I believe this chapter holds a key for us at this time. 2 Chronicles 1:7-12, That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, Ask what I shall give you. And Solomon said to God, You have shown great mercy and loving- kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place. Now, O Lord God, let Your promise to David my father be fulfilled, for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude. Give me now wisdom and knowledge to go out and come in before this people, for who can rule this Your people who are so great? God replied to Solomon, Because this was in your heart and you have not asked for riches, possessions, honor, and glory, or the life of your foes, or even for long life, but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may rule and judge My people over whom I have made you king, Wisdom and knowledge are granted you. And I will give you riches, possessions, honor, and glory, such as none of the kings had before you, and none after y ou shall have their equal. In these verses Solomon was not just asking for wisdom. He was asking for wisdom to rule Gods great people. This so impressed the heart of the Lord that He responded by saying because Solomon asked for wisdom to rule His great people He not only promised Solomon wisdom but also riches, possessions, honor and glory. As we rise up in prayer at this critical time and carry the heart of God for His people and the land of Israel we will bless the heart of our Father by seeking His kingdom agenda and mandate. Israel is Gods precious land and people and He desires to reward and pour blessing upon all who love and bless His covenant land and people. Those who bless Israel will be blessed! PRAYER DIRECTIVES 1. HIDDEN THINGS BE REVEALED 2 Kings 6:10-12 “Then the king of Israel sent to the place of which [Elisha] told and warned him; and thus he protected and saved himself there repeatedly. Therefore the mind of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing. He called his servants and said, Will you show me who of us is for the king of Israel? One of his servants said, None, my lord O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedchamber. We pray that every terrorist attack, wicked devise and plot of the enemy would be exposed and stopped. We declare as Israel goes into this battle the very secrets of the enemies plans will be made known to Israel government and army. Every hidden thing will be revealed. Let the prophetic voice of God be heard in the land. Daniel 2:47 The king answered Daniel, Of a truth your God is the God of gods and the Lord of kings and a Revealer of secret mysteries, seeing that you could reveal this secret mystery. 2. GOD KEEP NOT SILENT Psalms 83:1-5, 17,18 KEEP NOT silence, O God; hold not Your peace or be still, O God. For, behold, Your enemies are in tumult, and those who hate You have raised their heads. They lay crafty schemes against Your people and consult together against Your hidden and precious ones. They have said, Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Israel be in remembrance no more. For they have consulted together with one accord and one heart; against You they make a covenant—. Let them be put to shame and dismayed forever; yes, let them be put to shame and perish, That they may know that You, Whose name alone is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth. Isaiah 37:17 Incline your ear, O Lord and hear, open Your eyes O Lord, and see, and hear all the words of Sennacherib which he has sent to mock, reproach, insult and defy the living God. The plotting of the terrorists against Israel is a manifestation of Satans hatred for God as he targets the apple of Gods eye. Incline Your ear O Lord and let it be known that the Most High God is Lord over all the earth. You who sits in the heavens laughs as the nations plot wicked schemes. (Ps 2:4) We declare the Lord is powerful and His word executes judgments on His enemies. We declare a double recompense on Israel. Isaiah 61:7 Instead of your (former) shame you shall have a two fold recompense; instead of dishonor and reproach (your people) shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double (what they had forfeited); everlasting joy shall be theirs. 3. ENEMY WILL FALL IN HIS OWN TRAP! Psalms 57 BE MERCIFUL and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refuge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed. I will cry to God Most High, Who performs on my behalf and rewards me [Who brings to pass His purposes for me and surely completes them]! He will send from heaven and save me from the slanders and reproaches of him who would trample me down or swallow me up, and He will put him to shame. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! God will send forth His mercy and loving- kindness and His truth and faithfulness. My life is among lions; I must lie among those who are aflame—the sons of men whose teeth are spears and arrows, their tongues sharp swords. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let Your glory be over all the earth! They set a net for my steps; my very life was bowed down. They dug a pit in my way; into the midst of it they themselves have fallen. We pray for safety and protection for Gods people. We declare every trap and snare will be exposed and the enemy will fall into his own pit of destruction as Gods people walk by in safety. We call upon the Lord for supernatural aid from heaven. We ask for the angelic hosts of heaven to be dispatched to watch over and protect His chosen people. Psalms 91:1,5 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty, whose power no foe can withstand. You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day. 4. VALOR AND COURAGE Philippians 1:28 And do not (for a moment) be frightened or intimidated in anything by your opponents and adversaries, for such constancy and fearlessness will be a clear sign (proof and seal) to them of (their impending) destruction, but (a sure token and evidence) of your deliverance and salvation and that from God. 1 Samuel 17:45 Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the ranks of Israel, Whom you have defied! Israel has been facing a Goliath, taunting, mocking spirit of intimidation. We pray they will rise up with boldness and courage with the spirit of David as worshippers and warriors. We call out for wisdom and battle strategies for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, leaders of the army, and Gods Generals. We declare that their trust is in the name of the Lord their God. Let every eye be turned to God in humility with a new sound of triumph and worship. Let the worshippers arise! We declare that the mighty Presence of the Lord will execute terror, judgment and confusion on the spirits of darkness and The Lord God of Israel will be exalted and glorified!
