This is long so if you would take a couple of minutes to read we would appreciate it: Today Ronda and I (Loraine) went to court for yet another discovery hearing for Bravehearts abuser. For some reason in our minds we thought he would change his plea to guilty and throw himself on the mercy of the court, that did not happen. He stands by his plea of not guilty even with all the overwhelming evidence and chooses to go to a trial by jury. We cant understand why he feels a jury will show him more leniency but that is what is next. Trial by jury on January 26th, 2015. We hope that there will be many of you join us and make our presence known not only to the abuser but to the judicial system. We want to speak volumes about how we feel about animal abuse with as many people in attendance as possible! We will be wearing the new red Braveheart shirt with his picture to the trial, the color red because it will stand out and be noticed. We hope that the abuser has to look at a sea of Braveheart pictures in front of him as he prepares to find out what awaits him. We will be posting stories of Bravehearts journey and pictures for the next couple of months along with our regular pictures of our beautiful boy and I say our because he does belong to all of us. It is because of wonderful people like all of you who have stood beside us that he is the happy, healthy dog he is today.
