This is my 2nd attempt to make this public knowledge, it looks to have been deleted from the official ashtabula church league softball site, (which is fine individuals have their own reasons I suppose) not being rude here, just I truly feel people should know.... this is copied verbatim from what I posted on their site from the comish... I apologize to offend anyone but seriously why not let people know??? these fields are funded by Ashtabula city, field prep, mowing, electric for the nite lites ,city employees man hours etc. etc. etc... I received this email just to make sure its knowledge of all and not to beat around the bush with anyone please do not comment and keep personal opinions to self..... its been fun being apart of the league, and if we wish to be apart of it... we can join another church which we will discuss as a team....... here goes the email from Jake Harchalk comish of this league and site operator here...... again no comments here unless good comments (we are not those people and I thank you in advance!) Dan, I am sending this email to let you know how the players in the league have voiced their opinion throughout the season and via the year end survey about the Indian Creek Softball Team. I have heard complaints throughout the year from people about your team. Some were conveyed to me personally, some I was hearing from people who said they heard from such and such. The latter of the two I did not take much merit in. I did the year end survey and found that a majority of the surveys I got back stated that they felt Indian Creek should not be allowed back. A lot of the people in the league feel that Indian Creek is not a Church that it is just a chapel like you would see at a hospital. Others have voiced that the Indian Creek Chapel is not a year around church like the Methodist, Catholic, Nazarene, etc. I have been told by people who have called there and asked if you had a Pastor, and were told no. They feel it is not fair that you are able to pull players from all over the county to play on your team, because they camp there, essentially you are able to pick and choose who you have on your team. Your jerseys have nothing on it about being a Church, just an advertisement for the camp ground. With that being said Indian Creek will not be asked back next year to play. I wanted to email this to you because I like to have things in writing so to speak. If you have any questions feel free to call me
