This is my Dad retired in 1979 Chief Petty Officer Robert C Barker (ETC) who served aboard the Ricketts in the middle 70s I believe from 1971 to 1976, also taught school at NOB, I was just a squirt kid then, he served 2 tours in NAM with the 28th Marine Division supporting an air strip and keeping lines of communication open, I did not know many of his friends, but I remember a guy by the name of Joe Bourque that served with him and a Filipino shipmate of his named Orlando Conda, maybe some of you remember my dad? I hope you all had a Happy Veterans Day. JB :) PS: My dad retired from Boeing in 1999 as a research analyst and lives in Ofallon Missouri taking care of my 99 year old Grandma who will be 100 years old in March of 2015.
