This is my Kim(Kimberley Sue) aka my Doll Face she was my wife,soul mate,queen and love of my life.She was a mother,grandma,daughter,sister,aunt and best friend. She was diagnosed with stomach cancer in February of 2012,underwent pre-surgical chemo treatment for almost 5 months before having her stomach removed in July 2012. She fought this evil monster cancer with such tenacity and met every challenge head on with the attitude that she said I am not gonna lay in a corner sucking my thumb and let this thing control me she faced endless nights/days of nausea,surgeries,dialations,more chemo and then radiation treatments everyday for weeks all the while worrying that she was a burden to all of us. She ended up having to have a colostomy and finally succumbed to her battle on May 22,2013 surrounded by all her family and friends that she loved and loved her. Because of what she went thru,I became involved in our local relay for life(In honor of her) and I also went thru training to become a Hospice volunteer because I wanted to give back to others going thru what we did,her Hospice team was the most amazing group of people who without them her journey would have been near impossible to endure.
