This is my answer to someone who argued against tithing. (AND I AM NOT TRYING TO START A DEBATE. I DONT EVEN WANT COMMENTS. TAKE IT OR LEAVE. IT IS UP TO EVERYONE TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISION) In Old Testament humans received the tithes. In the New Testament Christ Himself receive the tithes - Heb 7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth. The giving of tithes is not from the law, it is from before the law - Abraham and Jacob tithed. The law just confirmed it (1 Cor 9:8) There is no such things as cant afford to tithe. Is God so small that one cant afford to tithe? The tithe belongs to God. It is not for us to use. If we do, we rob God. Lev 27:30 And all the tithe of the land, whether of the seed of the land, or of the fruit of the tree, is the LORDS: IT IS HOLY UNTO THE LORD unto the LORD. Mal 3 (we all know it) starts in 3:1 the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. In other words it is about the coming of Jesus, demanding tithes. I have been tithing for 28 years, there were times when I could not afford it and God proved that I can afford it. Is it not funny that people who earns more than me are always the ones who tell me they cant afford it? I have been so blessed, FAR FAR FAR ABOVE what my income determined throughout the years. My church is tithing faithfully (on every cent coming in) and we are doing what no other church our size can do. God has blessed me so much, that I now tithe my whole salary for the past 3 years! (Do you think I can afford that? Yes Yes Yes! I can! I serve a BIG GOD! I have houses, sport cars, etc etc. ONE CANNOT AFFORD NOT TO TITHE! I am not trying to offend. But people who argue against tithes like this has not stepped into KINGDOM LIFE yet. You are not just robbing God of what belongs to Him, you are robbing yourself. But the satanists are in agreement with that, dont bring your tithes to the storehouse.
