This is my dance performance at TEDx Karachi 2014 which was performed after my brief TED talk. The video was taken from a mobile phone hence the loq quality. Music: Sur Sasui Desi by the Fakirs from Shah Abdul Latif Bhittais mausoleum (Mazaar) It was called: ReflecTED TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It began in 1984 as an annual conference devoted to Technology, Entertainment and Design -- hence TED -- but TEDs reach and its scope have become ever broader since then. TEDTalks cover science, arts, politics, global issues, architecture, music and more. Description on my talk and performance by TEDx Karachi Suhaee Abro – ReflectED Suhaee’s form of expression was brought to the fore as she spoke from behind a screen, only to come forward wearing a mask. She danced with full expression, tearing off her mask and leaving the audience awe-struck throughout. It was starkly different and very poignant.
