This is my friend, Katie. Shes a teacher to her core, and its her passion. You can hear it when she talks about schools, kids, and music. Shes running for a seat on the Osborn School District Board, here in Phoenix. Her and I have had a number of discussions, much like the ones that occur here on my FB wall: Open, earnest, questioning, and passionate. I dont endorse many things, but putting teachers first is one of them. Many of you reading this are doing so because our public school system taught you to read, count, sing, build, paint, cook, act, play an instrument, program a computer, and many other skills that went on to be defining aspects of who you are, not just blind test takers.
